Day:01- Ahmedpur Mandvi BeachConsidered among the best beach resorts in the country, Ahmedpur Mandvi's beautiful beach is ideal for lazing on the sand, building sand castles, swimming in the Arabian Sea and enjoying water sports. It is the perfect family vacation destination. The water birds and fishing villages nearby and the proximity of Diu Island are additional attractions.
Day:02-Beyt Dwarka Beach
A well-known place of pilgrimage, Dwarka also has stretches of sandy beach to attract the beach loving tourist. The water birds that gather along the shoreline, as the tide recedes, is an enchanting sight on this beach, as is the sight of dolphins leaping out of the water.
Day:03- Chorwad Beach
A small fishing village located 66-km from Junagadh and 23-km from the fishing centre of Veraval, Chorwad is known for its beautiful beach and rocky shores. It is also near Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day:04- Diu Beaches
Situated 125kms from Junagadh, Diu is an island off India's west coast. Previously a Portuguese colony, examples of the distinctive colonial architecture can be seen in the churches and bungalows of Diu. The beaches here including Nagoa, Chakratirth and are a beach lover's paradise - clean golden sand and clear blue water, all bathed in the warm Indian sun.
Day:05- Kutch Mandvi Beach
This historic town was the port of the Maharao's - the royal family of Kutch. Mandvi beach is known for its clear waters, flocks of water birds, and ship building docks nearby. The Vijay Vilas Palace built by the Maharao's, and their private beach with its pavilion, from which one can view the sunset, are worth a visit.
Day:06- Somnath & Veraval BeachesThe pilgrimage centre of Somnath is known for its famous temple, which was pillaged by the invader Mahmud Ghazni during medieval times. The present temple was built in 1950 on the site of previous temples and is known as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva. The temple is located near the spectacular Somnath beach, caressed by the clear blue Arabian Sea. Somnath is also near Sasan, the centre of the Gir wild life sanctuary, the only home of the Asiatic Lion. Veraval is a fishing port, where thousands of ships of all shapes and sizes can be seen unloading their catch.
Day:07-Gopnath Beach
Once the summer residence of the ruler of Bhavnagar, Gopnath situated 80 kms from Bhavnagar, is known for its splendid beach. With limestone cliffs, breathtaking views, cool sea breezes and an abundance of waterbirds, Gopnath beach has an exotic charm.
